The below groups will focus on Metabolic Bariatric Surgery which can be overwhelming. One of the best approaches to counteract this stress is to seek out a group. You’ll benefit the most by having a space with others who understand your perspective along with an experienced dietitian moderating. Members will have the opportunity to provide assistance to one another, discuss a wide range of topics, and gain sound nutrition advice.
This group may be for you if you…
- are open and curious to learn about other people’s experiences.
- have established mental health support systems.
- comfortable participating in and being on a virtual platform.
This experience is NOT a substitute for mental health counseling.
Group Options
1st Years
Joining this community is an excellent way to establish the groundwork for your health! This group coaching program is designed for individuals who are within their initial year or 2 after metabolic bariatric surgery.
Advanced
This group are for those who’ve been through the first few years or more! Chances are things are different now and new challenges present themselves. You are not alone and this group will help you navigate your new normal.

When will groups be held?
1st Years: Every other Thursdays at noon EST
Advanced: Every other Tuesdays at noon EST
What is the cost?
A 3-month group cycle cost is $350. Groups are not covered by insurance.
How many people in the group?
The group capacity will be limited to a maximum of 6 participants to ensure everyone receives an equal opportunity to share experiences and receive the adequate support they need to learn these new skills.
Where are the meetings held?
We will have a virtual meeting
How many meetings are included?
We will meet twice a month for 3 months total. Therefore 6 meetings total.
What if I can't attend all scheduled meetings?
It is required for participants to be present for all 6 weeks of the group as the content builds weekly. If you become unwell or unable to continue with the group once the cycle begins, the payment is non-refundable. However all of the sessions are recorded so that you are able to access them afterwards!
